Regardless of the stage of photography you are at and the stage of photography you wish to reach, here at Photosense we have everything in place to teach you the skills, secrets and tricks to get you up to the next level.

From the complete beginner with a point and shoot to a full blown Digital SLR user, we have workshops designed to help you get the most out of the camera you have, how to take better shots of your loved ones, family friends and holiday shots.

We have a plethora of subjects to choose from and aim to provide an informative and fun filled 2 or 3 hours.

Here is a break down of how things work. We spend an hour talking about the theory side of things of the workshop subject, Once the theory is out of the way we all file out in an orderly manner and get to put the theory into practice by shooting and shooting some more for an hour.

After some serious shooting we all get together once more and download and go over all the photographs taken within the group, identifying strengths and weaknesses and areas to build on as well as seeing how other photographers approached the same subjects and tasks in different ways. Often a shockingly fun experience!

We believe learning learning is best done in groups, saying that private workshops are available if you prefer.

We like to make learning fun and enjoyable and for this reason we like to keep group sizes on the small side. 10 group members for none studio based workshops and 5 members for studio workshop gatherings.
